SL bowl in T20 tri-series opener against India

Colombo - Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the opening Twenty20 international of the tri-nation tournament in Colombo on Tuesday.

The hosts have gone in with seven batsmen and four bowlers in their starting lineup on a R Premadasa Stadium pitch that is expected to be batting friendly.

India handed middle-order batsman Vijay Shankar his international debut, as a host of up-and-coming talent makes up the playing XI in the side led by Rohit Sharma.

Bangladesh are the third team taking part in the tri-nation Nidahas Trophy.
