India capable of taking 20 wickets in SA - Yadav

Cape Town - India fast bowler Umesh Yadav is confident that his side will be able to take all 20 Proteas wickets in their upcoming Test series.

The Proteas will face the world No 1 Test team in the first of three-Test matches starting on January 5 at Newlands.

Yadav believes that the current Indian attack has the ability to bowl the South Africans out.

"The wickets in South Africa will put the focus back on the fast bowling unit and rightly so. There will be a lot of expectation from us.

"I believe this attack has the ability to get 20 South African wickets. All of us had a good 14 months at home and it's time to translate into overseas success," Yadav told PTI.

Earlier this week, former Indian coach Anil Kumble predicted that India will "create history" next month.

India have never won a Test series in South Africa having lost five times and drawn one.
