This isn't the only T20 team that Gibbs will be in control of this summer.

The former Proteas opening batsman will also coach the Rajasthani Heroes in the T10 League franchise in December.

Gibbs managed Kuwait to an historic win over Saudi Arabia that could see the country qualify for the 2020 ICC World T20 in Australia.

Gibbs played in 90 Tests, 248 ODIs and 23 T20 internationals for the Proteas between 1996 and 2010.
