Cape Town - Titans coach Mark Boucher says he and his side are looking forward to compete in the Abu Dhabi T20 league, which gets underway on Thursday.
The Titans are one of six domestic T20 teams vying for the coveted title at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.
The Titans are in Pool B along with New Zealand's Auckland Aces and Afghanistan's Boost Defenders.
Boucher and his charges kick off their campaign on Friday against the Auckland Aces at 19:00 and then take on the Boost Defenders on Saturday (15:00 SA time).
The Titans touched down in the United Arab Emirates on Monday and participated in their first training session in the evening.
"To have guys like Chris (Morris), Farhaan (Behardien), and Albie (Morkel), who have played international competitions around the world and have been successful as well in the teams they've been involved in, is a huge (plus) for the side," Boucher told the Titans website.
"We want to win. That's our culture. We've got a winning formula at the Titans, and we believe we've got a squad that can win it as well."
Titans bowler Tshepo Moreki said he was also excited about playing in Abu Dhabi.
"It's been a long day of travelling and we got the first training session out of the way. It's pretty humid and hot out here but it's good to get out and bowl again," said the 24-year-old.
"It's an exciting opportunity, it's a competition that we've been looking forward to as a group. Obviously we here to win."
The final of the Abu Dhabi T20 league takes place at 18:00 SA time on Saturday evening.
