Johannesburg - Simon Harmer, with his four wickets, lifted the Warriors to their first SuperSport Series victory of the season when they overcame the Dolphins by 91 runs late on the fourth afternoon in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.
The off-break bowler ended with four for 85 and received support from Basheer Walters (three for 35), who took the last three wickets, to dismiss the visitors for 350.
Divan van Wyk (102) had struck a century for the Dolphins, but none of the other batsmen made better use of their starts - Cody Chetty made 46 and Ugasen Govender managed 38 - leaving their side still searching for a first win in the competition.
They began the day just one wicket down on 121 with Devon Conway (24) and Van Wyk putting on 76 together.
Once the partnership was broken, David Miller's (seven) key wicket followed.
When Van Wyk fell, shortly after reaching his 100 in 158 deliveries, the initiative was handed to the home side on the stroke of lunch.
After the break, Chetty and Daryn Smit (30) fell after putting on 52 together for the fifth wicket. The final four wickets fell after tea, three of them to Walters, which helped the Warriors seal a win that took them above the Dolphins into fifth place.
In Bloemfontein, Martin van Jaarsveld struck a fine unbeaten century to help the Titans earn a draw against the Knights.
However, it could have been much sweeter for the visitors had bad light not stopped play with just 33 required in nine overs.
Both teams had to contend with a share of the spoils with the Titans skipper ending unbeaten on 167 off 161 deliveries.
Chasing an unlikely 336 for victory in a little over two sessions, the visitors finished on 303 for six, with also useful contributions from Faf du Plessis (40) and Henry Davids (43).
The home side began the day on 270 for five, but lost wickets regularly in search of quick runs.
Boeta Dippenaar added just three to his overnight score and was out for 112, while Quinton Friend (25 off 31) and Dillon du Preez (25 off 26) helped propel their team to 358 all out.
Hardus Viljoen (three for 47) was the pick of the bowlers, while David Wiese (three for 61) and Rowan Richards (three for 71) also collected three wickets each.
Du Preez and Malusi Siboto then helped reduce the Titans to 60 for three, before Van Jaarsveld shared in a 79-run partnership with Du Plessis, followed by a 135 run stand with Davids after which light intervened.
On Saturday, the other game in the round finished inside a little over two days with the Cape Cobras thrashing the Lions by an innings and 83 runs.
