Johannesburg - SuperSport has signed a sub-licence agreement with the SABC, enabling the public broadcaster to show seven matches of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20, starting in Bangladesh this weekend.
"We are happy to have come to an arrangement with the SABC regarding this event," said Brandon Foot, acting CEO of SuperSport.
The agreement allows SABC to broadcast the opening game between the hosts and Afghanistan, the four South African pool matches, one semi-final and the final on April 6.
South Africa face Sri Lanka first up on March 22 and the other teams in their pool are New Zealand, England and a team from the first week's qualifying round.
SuperSport will broadcast all 35 matches live and in High Definition.
