Day three abandoned in PMB

Cape Town - There was no play for a third consecutive day in the Sunfoil Series clash between the Dolphins and the Warriors as a combination of bad light and rain forced stumps to be drawn early in Pietermaritzburg.

A wet outfield delayed the start of the morning session, but following a 10:00 inspection by umpires Johan Cloete and Stephen Harris, it was decided that the match would start after lunch.

However, the covers were brought back after the interval due to intermittent rain and the conditions failed to improve, forcing the day to be abandoned.
