Johannesburg - Sri Lanka have resumed their innings at 57 without loss after rain disrupted the fifth and final one-day international against South Africa at the Wanderers.

The tourists, in the eighth over of their innings, needed another 256 runs to win when they returned to the middle.

Upul Tharanga was on 34 not out and captain Tillakaratne Dilshan was unbeaten on 17.

South Africa made 312/4 after they lost the toss and were sent in to bat.

Opener Grame Smith compiled his first century in 36 innings and three years, contributing 125 runs, and skipper AB de Villiers was unbeaten on the same score.
