Rain delays start at Kingsmead

Durban - Rain delayed the start of the third day’s play in the second Test between South Africa and Sri Lanka at Kingsmead in Durban on Wednesday.

Play will commence at 11:00 if there is no further rain before then.

Sri Lanka were 7/1 in their second innings with a lead of 177 runs.

They had faced 2.1 overs on Tuesday evening and captain Tillakaratne Dilshan was out just before stumps were called.

Sri Lanka made 338 in their first innings and the hosts replied with a meagre 168.

South Africa lead the three-match Test series 1-0.
