Hong Kong - The South African team has progressed to the Cup round robin after winning two of three group matches at the Hong Kong Sixes.
South Africa won their first Hong Kong Sixes match against Hong Kong by four wicket, lost their second game to Australia by 35 runs and then beat England by 21 runs to progress to the next phase of the competition, where the face Hong Kong, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
South Africa has achieved greater success at the Sixes before, winning the event in 2006 and 2009, which would suggest that 2012 may be their year once again.
With players of the calibre of captain Colin Ingram, Dillon Du Preez and Rory Kleinveldt – all big-hitting batsmen – South Africa were once again a force to reckon with.
Fast bowler Wayne Parnell was one of the stars of the first group phase and will hope to continue his excellent form into Sunday's matches.

Australia 91-2 beat South Africa 56 by 35 runs
South Africa 113-1 beat England 92-3 by 21 runs
