Rain ends Windies warm-up

Johannesburg - Persistent rain on Friday ended the three-day warm-up match between the West Indies and a South African Invitational XI a day early at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.

The tourists had amassed a total of 508 all out, with Devon Smith (174 retired out) and Marlon Samuels (203 retired out) sharing a 360-run third-wicket partnership.

When bad light stopped play on day two, Thursday, the South Africans were 17 for no loss.
