WATCH: Proteas look ahead to India series

Cape Town - The Proteas know that they are in for a serious challenge when they host India over three Test matches this summer.

India arrive in South Africa on Friday for three Test matches, six ODIs and three T20Is.

The Test matches are the main event, though, and the first match takes place at Newlands in Cape Town from January 5. 

India are the top ranked side in Test cricket, but they have no beaten the Proteas in South Africa in the post-isolation era. 

Still, the Proteas are fully aware that they will be tested to their limits in the coming weeks. 

In a video posted to the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Youtube channel, a few of the players in the South Africa squad opened up on what they were expecting in the upcoming Freedom Series.
