Cape Town - Thursday night at Newlands was alive and electric when the Proteas took on the Springboks in the second edition of the Nelson Mandela Legacy Cup.
The match was filled with fun and laughter as the Springboks looked to defeat the Proteas at their own game once again.
Ongoing gaffes and humour from the two national teams occurred throughout.
One of the highlights of the night was when Springbok prop Trevor Nyakane engaged in a dance-off with Highveld Lions wicketkeeper (turned bowler for the Proteas) Mangaliso Mosehle.
The two players met half-way down the pitch and locked eyes in an epic David v Goliath stare down. Tension rising, Mosehle broke into a shoulder shimmy dance with Nyakane following suit to the crowd and television spectators delight.
The Proteas finally had their day against the Springboks and won by 16 runs at Newlands.
