WATCH | Bavuma joins Biff's #nohands challenge

Proteas batsman Temba Bavuma has joined in Graeme Smith's #nohands challenge.

Smith, Cricket South Africa's Director of Cricket, on Saturday took to social media to raise awareness around the coronavirus.

With the country currently experiencing a 21-day lockdown that began on Friday, citizens are required to stay at home and Smith posted a video to his Instagram account in which he urged South Africans to adhere to the rules laid down by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

"We all know the importance of staying at home and practicing good hygiene, which includes us using our hands less," Smith said, before laying down the #nohands challenge.

The former Proteas captain urged cricket lovers to shoot videos of themselves catching an object with any part of their body other than their hands.

Bavuma on Saturday shared a video on his Twitter account where he catches an almond with his mouth, before nominating Lions team-mate Nolo Pongolo, Proteas quickie Dale Steyn and Springbok rugby star Elton Jantjies.

Earlier on Saturday, Cape Cobras coach Ashwell Prince and CSA's High Performance Manager Vincent Barnes also undertook the #nohands challenge.
