Cape Town - The Proteas clinched their three-match Test series 2-0 against India in Centurion on Wednesday.
READ: Ngidi-inspired Proteas steamroll India at Centurion
South Africa's series victory was thanks in no small measure to debutant Lungi Ngidi, who picked up six wickets in the second innings.
Ngidi ended with figures of 1/51 and 6/39 as the Proteas won the second Test by 135 runs at SuperSport Park, with the third Test starting on January 24 at the Wanderers.
21-year-old Ngidi's six wickets were the seventh best by a South African on debut - and the 27th best all-time.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the news of Ngidi's debut performance:

No question @NgidiLungi a deserving man of the match but runs and time were critical on another difficul pitch. @ABdeVilliers17 @deanelgar and @faf1307 set up victory.
