Rabada as good as Steyn after 6 Tests

Cape Town - Kagiso Rabada is the name on everybody's lips after his phenomenal effort in the fourth Test against England in Centurion secured South Africa their first win in 10 matches.

It may have been too little too late to salvage anything from the series - the Proteas went down 2-1 - but the future does look a lot brighter knowing that Rabada is set to be a big part of it.

The 20-year-old took 7/112 in the first innings and 6/32 in the second to finish with match figures of 13/144, and those are the second best match figures ever achieved by a South African bowler.

Makhaya Ntini holds that record for the 13/132 he picked up against the West Indies in Trinidad in 2005.

Rabada now has an impressive 24 wickets after his first six Test match - the same number as his role model Dale Steyn.

The difference is that Steyn played all of his first six Tests on home soil while Rabada has played three in India and three in South Africa.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
