Cape Town - Proteas speedster Kagiso Rabada was honoured as the Sportsman of the Year at the Gauteng Sports Awards in Johannesburg on Sunday.
The 23-year-old cleaned up at the Cricket South Africa Awards earlier in the year, and he was aty it again at a lavish ceremony hosted at the Silverstar Casino.
Rabada was nominated alongside proteas team-mate Lungi Ngidi, Springboks star Aphiwe Dyantyi and wrestler Martin Erasmus.
The Sportswoman of the Year winner, meanwhile, was Banyana Banyana midfielder Refiloe Jane, who won ahead of Kirsten McCann (rowing) and Danelle Wentzel (archery).
Each winner pocketed R15 000.
