Cape Town - Following their 1-0 Test series win over New Zealand, the Proteas have moved up two places on the ICC Test team rankings.

South Africa’s 204-run win at Centurion was enough to clinch the series and see them move from No 7 to No 5 on the ICC Test rankings.
New Zealand’s defeat has seen them slip two places to seventh.
The Proteas are now on 96 points, while Sri Lanka and New Zealand are at 95 points each. However, the Sri Lankans are ranked above the Black Caps in sixth place when the ratings are calculated beyond the decimal point.
