Proteas bat first in first T20 as VD Dussen, Cloete debut

Cape Town - Proteas captain, Faf du Plessis has won the toss and opted to bat in the first T20 International against Zimbabwe at Buffalo Park in East London.

The Proteas have two debutants in Rassie van der Dussen and Gihahn Cloete and will play two wrist spinners in Imran Tahir and Tabraiz Shamsi.

Veteran JP Duminy misses out with Faf du Plessis, David Miller and Christiaan Jonker making up the middle order for the home side. 

South Africa won the three match ODI series between the two countries 3-0.
