Past and present congratulate 'true champ' Morne

Cape Town - Emotions ran high during the fourth and final Test match between the Proteas and Australia at the Wanderers.

No one would have been more emotional than Proteas fast bowler Morne Morkel, who played his final Test for his country.

The Proteas thrashed the Australians by 492 runs to seal a historic series victory over Tim Paine and his charges with Morkel picking up two wickets during the visitors' second innings despite carrying an injury.

Morkel finished his star-studded career with 309 wickets in 89 Tests matches and both former and current players took to Twitter to congratulate the Proteas paceman.
