PICS: The Duminys welcome their new baby girl!

Cape Town - Proteas star JP Duminy and his wife Sue have welcomed their second child, Alexa-Rose, who was born on September 1.

Duminy broke the news on his Twitter account on Sunday with a picture from the hospital, while Sue Duminy also shared a photograph and message of thanks on her Instagram page.

"A weekend to certainly remember," JP Duminy wrote.

"Walking into spring with a bang. 01/09/2018. Thank you Lord for the amazing blessing of Family. Welcome to the world Alexa-Rose Duminy."

Sue, meanwhile, revealed that she had been in labour for 26 hours.

"Mom’s heart just doubled in size with all this new love, dad’s chest expanded twice from all the proudness and Isabella already got a very tight grip around your hand so you are basically stuck with your new BFF for life," she wrote.
