Cape Town - Proteas middle order batsman Temba Bavuma got married this weekend at an intimate ceremony in Franschhoek.
The 28-year-old married Phila Lobi at a wedding that was attended by some of the current Proteas crop of players including Kagiso Rabada and Andile Phehlukwayo.
Bavuma posted the wedding invitation to his Instagram followers afterwards, thanking everyone involved for making the day so special.
"Thank you to all that were a part of our day and made it special as it was," he wrote.
The invitation had read: "Welcome to our enchanted fairytale."
Former Lions and Titans coach Dave Nosworthy was also one of the guests, and he posted a picture to Twitter showing Bavuma looking dapper in a white suit while Phila wore a traditional white dress.
The Proteas, meanwhile, are next in action when they host Zimbabwe in three ODIs and three T20Is starting at the end of September.
