PICTURE: Proteas touch down in Sri Lanka

Cape Town - The Proteas have arrived in Sri Lanka for their Test and ODI series' as well as a lone T20 that gets underway in Galle on July 12.

The Test squad left on Sunday and, on Tuesday morning, Cricket South Africa (CSA) posted a picture to its Twitter page of the Proteas and captain Faf du Plessis arriving at their team hotel. 

The picture showed hotel staff greeting the Proteas on arrival in "spectacular fashion". 

The Proteas will play in a two-day tour match against a yet-to-be-determined Sri Lanka XI in Colombo on July 7. 

Following the completion of the Test series, some of the current squad will stay on for five ODIs and a single T20.

PROTEAS TOUR TO SRI LANKA: 

July 7-8: Two-day practice match, P Sara Stadium, Colombo

July 12-16: 1st Test match, Galle

July 20-24: 2nd Test match, Colombo

July 26: One-day warm-up match

July 29: 1st ODI, Dambulla (Day match)

August 1: 2nd ODI, Dambulla (D/N)

August 5: 3rd ODI, Kandy (day match)

August 8: 4th ODI, Kandy (D/N)

August 12: 5th ODI, Colombo (D/N)

August 14: T20 International, Colombo (D/N)
