Opener Janneman Malan has been added to the Proteas squad that will tour India for three ODIs this month.
The 23-year-old was not included in the initial 15-man squad that will leave on Sunday, but his superb knock of 129* (139) in the 2nd ODI against Australia in Bloemfontein on Wednesday was enough to convince the selectors to include him for India.
Malan had made a first-ball duck on debut in the first ODI against Australia in Paarl while, in the third and final ODI in Potchefstroom on Sunday, he made 23 (26).
