Cape Town - Proteas opening batsman Dean Elgar is back in England and has returned to the Surrey squad for their County Championship match this week.
According to Surrey's website, Elgar was named in the club's squad ahead of their County Championship clash against Nottinghamshire at the Kia Oval on Wednesday, August 29.
Elgar flew from the Seychelles to England after participating in the Titans pre-season tour where they played a Twenty20 encounter against local side, the Gran Kaz Kings.
The 31-year-old, currently ranked as the ninth best Test batsman in the world, played the first three Division One matches of the season before joining up with his national side for a Test series with Sri Lanka.
Elgar replaces Aaron Finch, who has now returned to Australia, as the overseas player in the squad.
Surrey head into the match in fine form having won their last six matches and seven of the nine in Division One so far this campaign.
