CSA turns to new external auditors

Cape Town - Cricket South Africa (CSA) has appointed assurance, advisory and tax services firm PWC to head its external audits following the removal of Nkonki as the incumbent auditors.

Steered by the recommendation of the Audit and Risk Committee, the Members Council approved the decision to move swiftly with the appointment of PWC for the April 30, 2018 year end audit.

CSA and its Members have satisfied themselves that PWC meets the requirements as per the MoI and the Companies Act for the appointment of an external auditor. PWC has the requisite skills and capacity in order to ensure that a quality audit is completed as per the prescribed standards, regulation and/or legislation.

"We are delighted to welcome PWC,” commented CSA President, Chris Nenzani

“We look forward to tapping into their valuable operating experience and services. Their proven track record together with their leadership and passionate approach to governance makes them an ideal addition.”
