Cricket community questions Nagpur pitch

Cape Town - The Proteas were dismissed for 79 in Nagpur on Thursday, losing eight wickets in 90 minutes on the second morning of the third Test against India. 

Spin was responsible for all 10 of the Proteas wickets, and the nature of the innings has prompted certain corners of the cricket community to voice concerns over the state of the wicket in Nagpur. 

The Proteas faced similar conditions in Mohali in the first Test, being dismissed for 184 and 109 on their way to a 108-run defeat.
