Cape Town - AB de Villiers has rocked the cricketing world for the second consecutive day, ruling himself out of South Africa's four-Test tour to England in July/August.
In addition to Wednesday's bombshell, De Villiers also confirmed he'll miss the Proteas' two-Test home series against Bangladesh in September/October.
This comes a day after De Villiers confirmed he'll sit out March's three-Test tour to New Zealand.
De Villiers did however confirm he will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he'll receive close on R19 million from the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Social media was quick to turn on De Villiers for his apparent lack of loyalty in putting the IPL ahead of his national side.
Maybe AB de Villiers has already retired from test cricket but he's just letting us know one series at a time.
