Both teams have a lot to do with the test hanging in the balance.

04 Jan 2015

After losing their two openers fairly cheaper both Johnson and Samuels did well to bat through to the close of play.  They will have a hard slog ahead of them tomorrow with Harmer looking dangerous, but they only have a deficit of four runs to wipe out and then build a lead.  South Africa will want early wickets tomorrow.

NOT OUT!  Hawk-eye shows that missing leg stump by some way.  Poor, poor review by South Africa.

West Indies 42/2

04 Jan 2015

REVIEW! Massive appeal for LBW as Philander strikes Samuels on the pads.  Amla reviews, it looks like it is missing the leg stump.

04 Jan 2015

Almost another wicket as Johnson gets and outside edge off Morkel but it drops short of Elgar in the gully.

Almost a run out as the ball is played down to third man, Bavuma is so fast across the turf and Samuels was sent back after thinking there was an easy two runs.  He just made it back.

04 Jan 2015

Two new batsman for the West Indies, they have to start all over again.

04 Jan 2015

Samuels is the new man in, he has one ball of this Harmer over to negotiate.

Spin into the attack for the first time in this innings as Harmer is brought into the attack.

Let's see what he can do on track on Day 3.
