Thanks for tuning in!

Attentions now shift to the three-game ODI series, which start at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Friday.

There will also be a two-Test series after the one-day series.

QUOTES

SA skipper, Faf du Plessis: "They were much better in putting up a fight. Our boys played a great two-match series. In tough conditions, we batted really well and we bowled really well too.

"It's extremely humid. AB's face was about to explode in the heat. We need to battle longer now. In the ODIs and the Tests. They've done really well in one-day cricket. But it's important for us that we have put our own statement out by winning this 2-0. We respect them, and we'll play our best cricket."

Bangladesh captain, Mashrafe Mortaza: "There are some positives. And we have to learn from our mistakes too. It was an off day as a fielding ground. So hopefully we'll come back in the one-dayers.

"After the start, we lost too many wickets. But we haven't played too many T20s recently. Not an excuse. We just have to improve. We've just been concentrating on ODIs and Tests. As a professional team though, we have to come and perform. We have to fight. We couldn't fight here at all. Hopefully that changes."

  • Comment: South Africa are the winners in this T20 International series by 2 games to 0. Their openers started well and set the platform for a decent score. Bangladesh started well but once the Proteas got the breakthrough, they lost wickets at regular intervals. A well deserved victory for the visitors.

  • 19

Wicket: Abbott bowls the final over of the Match. WICKET!! Rony Talukdar is yorked by a beauty from Abbott. Mustafizur Rahman, is the last man in and is welcomed with a wide. Edged and bowled. It's all over as Abbott takes the final WICKET!!

  • 19

Now that the game is all but sealed, Wayne Parnell comes back into the attack. They take a risky second run and a direct hit from Miller would have meant a run out. Ahh.. he bowls his mandatory wide, down the leg side. They need 33 in the last over.

  • 18

Wicket: Kyle Abbott is back for his 3rd over. WICKET!! Mortaza goes and with him any hopes Bangladesh may have had. Mortaza has been Castled as the leg stump goes flying. Arafat Sunny, joins Talukdar. Bangladesh need 41 runs in 12 balls. Good luck with that!

  • 17

Phangiso bowls his final over. There it is. Mortaza takes SIX, straight down the ground. They need more from him and soon. OH YES! It's SIX more, over long on. The crowd has come alive again. Bangladesh need 46 runs in 18 balls.

  • 16

David Wiese is back into the attack. It's six off the over. Bangladesh need 61 runs in 24 balls. Mortaza will have to launch soon.

  • 15

Wicket: Phangiso continues to Rony Talukdar, who smashes him for SIX! That was launched over long on. Shot! and it's 100 UP!! They add a single and then it's another WICKET! Litton Das is caught by Wiese at long on. A top catch as he managed to avoid two other fielders, unlike what happened in the World Cup Semi Final against NZ. Mashrafe Mortaza, is the new man.

  • 14

JP returns for his final over. It's good rotation of the strike here, but they need boundaries and lots of it. JP ends with 0/26. Bangladesh need 74 runs in 36 balls.

  • 13

Wicket: WICKET!! Phangiso continues and they are falling apart now. Rossouw takes a his third catch of the innings, as Hossain departs. He came down the track and sliced his shot. A simple catch. Litton Das, walks in next. Bangladesh need 86 runs in 42 balls.

  • 12

Wicket: Eddie Leie with 2-0-9-1, is back into the attack. We now have a slip in place, Rahim goes down the track and collects SIX, over extra cover. Top Shot! WICKET!! as Eddie Leie picks up his second wicket. A good catch by Miller sends Rahman packing. Miller had to move quite a way at midwicket after the slog sweep went quite flat. Nasir Hossain, is in next. WICKET!! Leie is on Fire, as Rahim goes caught by Rossouw in the covers. He is on a hat-trick as Rony Talukdar walks in.

  • 11

Wicket: Aaron Phangiso, comes into the attack and strikes first ball. WICKET!! Another bowling change gets the wicket. Shakib has thrown it away here. He launched and found a jumping Rilee Rossouw at long on. Sabbir Rahman, is in next. FOUR, as Rahim is handed a boundary after Abbott fumbles.

  • 10

JP continues. He bowls a no ball. He is lucky as the free-hit is a dot. That is huge, especially to Shakib. We are halway and they still need 101 off 60 at 10+ per over.

  • 9

Eddie Leie continues. Edged and DROPPED!! QDK is all over the place. This time he got his gloves there, but too late. Both batsman have now had a chance.

  • 8

Jean-Paul Duminy returns to the attack. Edged and missed by QDK. he did not even get close to that. Shakib survives. Will that be costly? Bangladesh need 112 runs in 72 balls

  • 7

Wicket: The debutant Eddie Leie, comes into the attack. WOW!! He strikes fifth ball. The dangerous Sarkar is OUT! What a give away wicket. He advanced and did not pick the wrong'un. QDK makes no mistake with the stumping. Mushfiqur Rahim, joins Shakib.

  • 6

Wicket: Wayne Parnell is back into the attack, as a replacement for Wiese. Edged and a single to third man. We have no slips in place. Faf needs all his fielders out there to cover for the Parnell effect. He slips in a wide! That was too short. WICKET!! as Parnell strikes with the help of Wiese. Tamim is on his way. The slower ball does the trick for Parnell and the midwicket fielder comes into play. Shakib Al Hasan, is in next. Sarkar spoils the over with a SIX! over deep midwicket. 50 UP!!

  • 5

Kyle Abbott is back into the attack. No surprise really after that last Wayne Parnell over. Sarkar continues where he left off. DROPPED and FOUR, to third man. Wiese just got a finger to that. A difficult chance! He follows that up with two wides! Oh Dear. It's 9 off the over.

  • 4

David Wiese, replaces JP, as Tamin starts with a couple to deep midwicket. That was a gentle flick. Soumya Sarkar is taking them on here. It's FOUR, between midwicket and long on. Faf tries to stop it but steps on the rope. Another FOUR ends the over, as Sarkar is in a positive frame of mind. That's very good for Bangladesh.

  • 3

Wayne Parnell, replaces Abbott. Soumya Sarkar, adds FOUR more, to deep backward point. That was too short and wide and deserved to be punished. Tamim cashes in with FOUR more, square of the wicket. It's rubbish here from Wayne Parnell. That was a risky shot but he really needs to bowl a tighter line.

  • 2

Jean-Paul Duminy, opens from the other end. Tamim advances and is almost found wanting, as he misses it. FOUR! What a shot by Sarkar. JP tossed it up outside the off stump and the cover drive brings a boundary.

  • 1

Kyle Abbott starts proceedings to Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar. He gets away with a first ball full toss. He then strays down the leg side and Bangladesh opens their account with a single, to fine leg. AB has now moved into a second slip. FOUR! That was short and wide. Sarkar makes no mistake as he cuts that past point.

  • End of Innings - South Africa started like a train on fire and looked like they were on their way to 200. Bangladesh pulled it back by taking wickets and bowling tight lines. South Africa still managed to get 169 which is a good score. We'll be back shortly with the second innings.

  • 20

Mustafizur Rahman will bowl the final over. Starts with a dot ball, followed by 2 singles. Next ball is a full toss that Miller somehow after losing his balance gets away for 6! A single follows. Last ball has been smoked down the ground by Rossouw for 4!

He gets a leading edge that flies straight up and Shakib gets under it and takes the catch! He goes for 6 off 4 balls. Faf du Plessis is the new man in. WICKET! AB gets forward to play the ball to fine-leg and Rahman takes a catch. There is a massive appeal and he is given! There doesn't seem to be any bat on it and AB isn't happy. • 10

Mortaza starts with a widish ball and de Kock plays it to the sweeper who makes a hash of things and ends up giving away 4 runs! Bangladesh have looked awful in the field today! Two singles follow. WOAH! De Kock slogs the next ball for 6! A single and a dot ball ends the over.

  • 9

  • 6

Rahman starts with 2 dot balls. Had AB in trouble with that leg-cutter but he's still there. Another cutter but its too short and wide and AB smashes it to the cover boundary! A dot ball is followed by 2 runs off the fifth ball. AB smashes the last ball through extra-cover for 4! 50 up for South Africa!

  • 5

Mortaza turns to experience and brings Shakib into the attack. Two singles taken off the first 2 balls, followed by 2 dot balls. Two runs taken off the fifth ball. Single taken off the last ball.

  • 4

Mustafizur Rahman into the attack. Starts with a wide, followed by a dot ball. de Kock clips the next ball off his toes past fine-leg for 4! Two singles and a dot ball follows. A dot ball to end the over. Lots of cutters in that over but these 2 batsmen have played it well.
