Cape Town - Proteas all-rounder Jacques Kallis has received high praised from cricket legends after he finished his Test career on a high.

Kallis ended his 166-Test career on Monday with a match and a 1-0 series victory over India, in which he contributed a vital knock of 115.
Kallis scored 13 289 Test runs at an average of 55.37, including 45 centuries and 58 half-centuries. He also took 292 wickets at an average of 32.65.
He ended as the third-highest leading run-scorer in Test cricket and his average is higher than both Sachin Tendulkar (53.78) and Ricky Ponting (51.85) who are ahead of him on the runs-scored list with 15 921 and 13 378 respectively.
Tendulkar, who himself recently retired after playing his 200th Test, took to Twitter to congratulate Kallis on a fine career.
He posted the following on Tuesday: It's been a joy to have played against you. Jacques you are a true Champion. Retired life isn't so bad :-))
Two former Australian greats, leg-spinner Shane Warne and fast bowler Glenn McGrath, also lauded Kallis.
