Pakistan off to flying start

East London - Pakistan have got off to a flying start in their four-day warm-up match against a South African Invitation XI at Buffalo Park in East London on Friday.

At lunch, the visitors were 100 without loss off 27 overs, with Muhammad Hafeez (50*) and Nasir Jamshed (45*) at the crease.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first.

The match is the only warm-up for Pakistan ahead of their three-Test series against South Africa starting in Johannesburg on Friday, February 1.
