Marsh replaces injured Clarke

Adelaide - Shaun Marsh will replace injured captain Michael Clarke in the Australian team for next week's second Brisbane Test, Cricket Australia said on Saturday.

Clarke said scans have shown he has a torn right hamstring after coming off during the final day of the opening Adelaide Test and will take no further part in the series against India.

Wicketkeeper Brad Haddin is expected to assume the Test captaincy for the remaining three Tests.

Australia called on West Australian batsman Marsh and also added left-arm paceman Mitchell Starc to their squad for the Gabba Test.
