Proteas call up Kyle Abbott

Johannesburg - Dolphins fast bowler, Kyle Abbott, has been added to the Proteas' squad for the second Test against India, starting in Durban on December 26.

Abbott is brought in as cover for Morné Morkel, who badly sprained his ankle in the first Test at the Wanderers over the weekend.

The Test finished in a thrilling draw after South Africa finished on 450/7, chasing 458 for victory.

The Proteas travel to Durban on Monday to begin preparations for the match.

Graeme Smith (captain), AB de Villiers (vice-captain), Kyle Abbott, Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Imran Tahir, Jacques Kallis, Rory Kleinveldt, Alviro Petersen, Robin Peterson, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, Thami Tsolekile.
