Ouch! Is Morkel's series over?

Johannesburg - Proteas fast bowler Morne Morkel injured his ankle attempting to field a ball shortly before lunch on the third day of the first Test against India at the Wanderers on Friday.

Morkel had to be helped off the field and South Africa now face the prospect of being without him for the rest of the series.

India were 31/1 at lunch on Day 3, giving them a lead by 67 runs.

South Africa were dismissed for 244 in their first innings, after India posted 380 in their first innings.

The second and final Test starts in Durban on December 26.
