Early lunch at Kingsmead

Cape Town - An early lunch has been taken at Kingsmead in Durban on Day 2 of the second Test between the Proteas and India on Friday.

Lunch was taken at 11:30 instead of the scheduled 12:00.

The entire morning's play was lost due to rain.

The covers are absolutely drenched, and to make things worse, there is very little wind to blow the clouds away.

The very few optimistic supporters that have remained are huddled under umbrellas.

If/when play does resume, India will look to add to their overnight total of 181/1.

The first Test at the Wanderers ended in a draw.
