Adelaide - Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin says "all signs" point to injured captain Michael Clarke playing the first Test against India beginning Tuesday at the Adelaide Oval.
Clarke joined the squad on Friday as he seeks to return from a recurring hamstring injury for the rescheduled first Test, and after helping with funeral arrangements following the death of good friend and team-mate Phillip Hughes last week.
Haddin says "he is going in the right direction, and we're like everyone else, we want Michael out there."
After a morning hit in the nets, Clarke had another session when the main squad trained in the afternoon. Clarke moved down the wicket without discomfort and later had a one-on-one session with batting coach Michael Di Venuto.
