Cape Town - James Anderson took three wickets in two overs and England needed less than three overs to dismiss South Africa for 291 in their first innings early on the second day of the third Castle Lager Test at Newlands on Monday.

The collapse started when Jacques Kallis, who shared a seventh wicket stand of 64 with Dale Steyn, got an edge to the fourth ball of the morning, bowled by Graham Onions, and was caught behind by Matthew Prior without adding to his overnight score of 108.
Anderson - who took the wicket of Ashwell Prince in the opening over on Sunday and added the crucial wicket of Graeme Smith in his first over after lunch - continued his habit of striking early when he got Steyn's wicket with his first delivery.
Steyn, looking more uncertain than he had when he and Kallis were playing together on the first day, got a thick edge and was caught at third slip by Jonathan Trott for 26.
Three balls later, Morkel was caught by Graeme Swann off Anderson without scoring. Paul Harris made 10 quick runs off Onions, but Anderson finished the job off when he had Friedel de Wet leg before wicket with the first ball of his second over.
