Elgar says bye bye to Knights

Cape Town - Proteas batsman Dean Elgar has announced that he'll move from the Knights to the Titans from next season.

According to the Volksblad website, Elgar on Monday informed the Bloemfontein franchise of his decision to move to Pretoria.

Elgar is currently playing for the Proteas in the final Test against Australia at Newlands.

Johan van Heerden, CEO of the Knights, said Elgar believes playing for the Titans will enhance his chances of playing for the Proteas in all three formats.

The 26-year-old recently lost his national contract.

There are also rumours that wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock could move from the Highveld Lions and join Elgar at the Titans.
