Chennai - New Zealand bowling coach Allan Donald says his team's attack has been brought crashing down to earth after an onslaught from India's batsmen in its final warm-up match ahead of the World Cup.
Former South Africa fast man Donald, who joined New Zealand's setup shortly before the tournament, conceded on Thursday that he and his bowlers were facing some tough self-examination after India plundered 136 runs off the last 10 overs in Wednesday's warm-up in a mammoth score of 360-5.
Donald says "at this level I think it was a bit of an eye-opener for a lot of the guys. We must find out where we went wrong."
His struggling bowlers open against Kenya on Sunday in Group A, with Donald adding "we have got to be on the mark."
