Cape Town - New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham felt the wrath of overzealous American customs officials on Thursday when he handed his bat in for inspection and was given it back full of holes.
Neesham, travelling through America with his Caribbean Premier League side Guyana Amazon Warriors, tweeted a photo of the willow, complete with four holes drilled into it as officials apparently searched it for drugs.
The 23-year-old all rounder has played 4 Tests and 11 ODIs for the Black Caps.

Imagine if your cricket gear went through America and they drilled holes in your bat to look for drugs... pic.twitter.com/oaxAFJAvSK
