Birmingham - The Proteas endured a frustrating start to their do-or-die World Cup fixture against New Zealand in Birmingham on Wednesday, looking on from the changerooms as the start was delayed due to a wet outfield.
LIVE: Proteas v New Zealand
It is a massive clash for South Africa, who must win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the tournament semi-finals alive.
As the 12:30 (SA time) toss drew nearer, fans continued to stream through the gates at the iconic World Cup venue.
This is the same ground, of course, where the Proteas had their hearts broken in the 1999 World Cup semi-final to Australia.
There is sizeable support for South Africa once again, 20 years later, but this time around the spectators will be hoping that they leave celebrating.
Sport24's Lloyd Burnard is at the ground and he spent some time with the supporters who had come to get behind the Proteas.
