CSA pays tribute to Koeka Bulbulia

Cape Town - Cricket South Africa has heard with sadness of the passing of Mohamed ‘Koeka’ Bulbulia on Saturday, 18 July, at the age of 80.

He represented the SACBOC national side in one international match on the tour to Kenya in 1958/59 as a medium-fast bowler who swung the ball both ways and could cut the ball deceptively.

“He was one of the many, many talented cricketers who were regrettably denied opportunity when in the prime of their lives,” commented CSA Chief Executive, Haroon Lorgat. “On behalf of the CSA Family I extend deepest condolences to his family, his friends, and all his cricketing colleagues.”
