Cape Town - Cricket South Africa shares the shock and horror of all decent people following the xenophobic attacks on our fellow Africans this week and calls on all South Africans to respect the sanctity and dignity of human life.
“This is one of the saddest weeks in the history of our young democracy,” commented CSA President, Chris Nenzani. “As we approach the 21th anniversary next week of our first democratic election let us re-commit ourselves to all the values enshrined in our constitution.
“As always, in moments of distress, we should draw on the inspiration of our founding president, Nelson Mandela, whose vision of respect and freedom for all people sends us a clear message.
