Black Caps to tour Sri Lanka

Colombo - New Zealand will play two Tests, five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 match on a tour of Sri Lanka in October-November, Sri Lanka Cricket said on Friday.

The month-long tour opens on October 30 with a Twenty20 game in Pallekele, which will also host the first one-day international two days later.

Colombo and Hambantota will hold two one-dayers each before the first Test starts in Galle on November 17. The second Test will be played in Colombo from November 25.

The Black Caps last played a Test series in Sri Lanka in 2009, when they lost both matches.

New Zealand are currently in Sri Lanka where the World Twenty20 opens on Tuesday.

Oct 30: Twenty20 international, Pallekele

Nov 1 : First one-dayer, Pallekele

Nov 4 : Second one-dayer, Colombo

Nov 6 : Third one-dayer, Colombo

Nov 10: Fourth one-dayer, Hambantota

Nov 12: Fifth one-dayer, Hambantota

Nov 17-21: First Test, Galle

Nov 25-29: Second Test, Colombo
