Bangladesh strike against Zim

Chittagong - Sikandar Raza struck a career-best 82 and shared a national record 160-run partnership for the second wicket to lift Zimbabwe to 200-4 at lunch Friday on the third day of the third cricket Test against Bangladesh.

Raza and Hamilton Masakadza (80) combined in the record stand for Zimbabwe, which still trailed by 303 on the first innings.

Regis Chakabva (16) and Craig Ervine (12) were unbeaten at the interval.

Raza smashed 10 boundaries, while Masakadza hit nine boundaries and a six as he posted his third successive 50-plus score before he was trapped lbw by paceman Shafiul Islam.

Legspinner Jubair Hossain (2-57) removed Brendan Taylor (1) and Raza in three balls to ruin Zimbabwe's promising start to the day.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
