Cape Town - Australian cricket legend Shane Warne and English actress Elizabeth Hurley have reportedly split, again.

Warne and Hurley got back together after experiencing a difficult period in September - two years after Warne popped the question - but it now appears the couple have called it quits for good.

A close source to the couple said "there were just too many issues in the way" of the romance.

Warne, 44, posted this somewhat mysterious and philosophical tweet on Monday night:

"The past should be the past & stay there. It destroys the future. Live life for what tomorrow has to offer, not for what happened yesterday."
