Mamelodi Sundowns' co-head coach Manqoba Mngqithi hailed the impressive performance of his side as they outclassed Orlando Pirates by 4-1 in a Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash, but still pointed out areas for improvement.

Sundowns advanced to the semi-finals of the competition on Thursday night at Loftus Versfeld Stadium thanks to goals by Themba Zwane, Lesedi Kapinga and captain Hlompho Kekana which followed a Peter Shalulile opener.
It was a dominant performance from Sundowns that solidified their status as this country's premier football club.
In an ominous warning to the rest of the league, Mngqithi said that despite an impressive win they could still improve in certain areas.
"We should have scored more goals than what we did I think," Mngqithi told SuperSport TV post-match. "If I'm not mistaken I also saw three or four possible penalty decisions that could have gone our way.
"In transition we created some very good moments that I thought we should have taken advantage of and felt very bad when we could not take the chances that we had.
"Overall I thought the boys are getting better and are working very hard defensively and are suffocating opponents with our counter-press.
"In our build-up we are also a little bit more confident and playing with more conviction.
I think our boys are really improving in leaps and bounds in our play, structurally we can still improve but nonetheless we put in a good performance.
Sundowns next turn their attention to the PSL where they travel to Durban to face an in-form AmaZulu side under Benni McCarthy.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
