Dricus "Stillknocks" du Plessis stunned the world after defeating Sean Strickland for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight championship in Toronto, Canada, at UFC 297 on Sunday morning (SA time).

The South African participated in his first five-round fight and first title bout in the promotion, coming out on top after a brutal battle against the now-former champion.
