Seventeen-year-old Aldrich Potgieter made history by becoming the second-youngest golfer to win the Amateur Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes since then-16-year-old Matteo Manassero's win in 2009.
Potgieter also became the third South African to lift the amateur title, joining Bobby Cole (1966) and Jovan Rebula (2018).
